SRP's Supply Chain department is looking for a Logistics minded talent to support the movement of purchased, leased, and rented materials and equipment in support of water and power operations. The Logistics Services internship is designed to provide exposure to a variety of supply chain tasks and strategies within the disciplines of Inbound/Outbound Logistics, Material Coordination and SRP's Water & Power operation.
This position collaborates and supports company-wide business objectives providing customer service in support of planned, preventative, and emergency work functions. The job responsibilities are challenging and varied. The intern will gain valuable Supply Chain knowledge, business acumen and establish networking opportunities across SRP.
- Support team through data entry, audit, and verification (Logging Orders, PO Management reports, Client & Supplier On-Rent report reconciliation, etc.)
- Support the invoice payment, freight bill audit and invoice dispute resolution processes
- Provide client support of Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Agistix software applications to assist with requests and questions. Investigate and resolve customer, system, and technical issues in a timely manner
- Gather requirements for department KPI reporting and dashboard development
- Participate in SRP site and supplier site tours/meetings to expand knowledge of the overall operation
- Gather and document areas for process improvement

- The ability to successfully telework without daily in-person interaction
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Microsoft Teams
Pay Structure/Hours/Hybrid Workplace:
- This is a paid opportunity for a student working a minimum of 15 hours per week. However, work hours and schedules may fluctuate based on departmental needs.
- Applicant must be enrolled and attending a minimum of six (6) college credits per semester (100 or higher-level courses).
- Pay rate is $18.75 per hour for an undergraduate intern and $20.80 per hour for a graduate intern.
Work Schedule
- Minimum 15 hours per week (20-25 hours per week is normally a good balance with school).
- Hours are scheduled during Monday - Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM.
- We are willing to work around class schedules.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona. We are taking steps to protect the health and well-being of all team members, and by following a number of health and safety protocols, to reduce the risk of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
