Business Unit/Department: Accounting
Location: Lawrence, PA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and distribute customer statements of account
- Contact delinquent customers via phone and email and maintain consistent follow up
- Understand, investigate and resolve collection issues
- Maintain a complete and accurate record of all collection efforts including any corrective arrangements and add notes to the customer’s account in IFS
- Develop collection strategies to reduce days sales outstanding, prevent bad debt and improve collection recoveries
- Perform other various accounting related duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Is experienced in collections work; more than two years’ experience preferred
- Has strong written and oral communication skills
- Has excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Understands accounts receivable accounting processes
- Is able to work closely with others in the accounting department and other ECI departments to resolve AR collection issues
