Billing & Collections Associate Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interact with members and guest with an upbeat voice, welcoming smile & professional manner
- Provide exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers
- Manage & return emails, phone calls to members enquiring about account billing questions promptly
- Work with Member Services team to assist them with any billing related questions from members
- Handle daily new join checks to verify accounts are set up correctly, billing, prorates, etc
- Pull PreBilling Reports prior to the 1st of the month billing to check for errors & discrepancies, verify discounts, validate no-show charges, add ons, etc
- Pull Account Aging Report on the 1st of each month & evaluate accounts for pre-collections, collections
- Pull Post Billing Reports on the 1st of each month for declines, decline charges, etc
- Make calls to members that have declined for the month & update decline call list
- Collect on past due/declined accounts and update monthly decline billing spreadsheet
- Handle monthly pre-collection accounts/letters
- Prepare and send delinquent accounts to our collections agency
- Review & close daily accounting batches for errors & discrepancies
- Handle monthly membership age ups
- Handle monthly member referral guest passes
- Manage & process Toast charges during Escape Resort season
- Handle additional membership & billing tasks as assigned by Billing Manager
- Maintain dress code: maintain neat appearance & wear proper uniform attire with name tag
Approximate Hours: 20-25 hours/week
*Must work on the 1st of the month when billing process*

Education and/or Experience:
- Previous Billing & Accounts Collection Experience Preferred
- Previous Experience in Customer Service
- Must be 21 or older
Physical Demands:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk frequently during the day. May stand four (4) to eight (8) hours per day. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
