Role Summary
This position will record, measure, and communicate financial data to properly reflect accounts receivable and related customer AR balances of the Company. They will optimize productivity and continuously improve procedures and processes supporting A/R as well as ensure professional and consistent communication with past due customers.
Key Responsibilities
- AR Duties
- Assist team in managing customer remittances for proper cash application.
- Maintain A/R Aging report.
- Undertake collection efforts weekly.
- Maintain weekly AR Analytics for review by Accounting Manager and Controller.
- Manage Accounts Receivables email.
- Accounting Projects
- Assist in maintaining AR Risk Power BI report.
- Assist in implementation of eCommerce platform to help increase visibility into remittances.
- Assist in continuous accounting projects to optimize and automate current accounting processes.
- Accounting Responsibilities
- Assist Accounts Payable Specialist with daily vendor invoice processing on an as-needed basis.
- Assist CUPS and Accounts Receivable Analyst with cash application and CUPS processes on an as-needed basis.
- Assist with month-end close by executing account reconciliations and AR Aging reports as directed by Accounting Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Responsible Care Management System®.

Required:
- Proven computer skills including accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Proven verbal and written communications skills.
- Confirmed team player with good superior and peer relationship skills.
- Successful record of effective customer relations skills.
- Self-motivated, with a proactive attitude towards work and demonstrated belief in continuous improvement.
Preferred:
- Associate degree in Accounting
- Experience in AR collections and rebate programs
