We are looking for a Collection Agent to join our team and help us recover outstanding payments from our customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in a call center environment and be comfortable making outbound calls. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, be able to stay organized and remain professional in difficult situations. The Collection Agent will be responsible for ensuring that all payments are received in a timely manner and that any customer inquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls from customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Verify customer information and update records as needed.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when speaking with customers.
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers.
- Identify customer needs and suggest solutions to meet those needs.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
