Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise team of baristas
- Place store orders twice per week and understand item pars needed
- Make weekly schedules for team members ensuring optimal efficiency
- Train and evaluate employees communicating feedback with senior leadership on a frequent basis
- Follow directives from CEO and Operations
- Communicate in a professional, thorough manner with senior leadership about store operations on a regular basis
- Prepare and serve beverages consistently with latte art
- Create a welcoming and one of a kind experience for guests and resolve all guest complaints
- Be knowledgeable about our coffee, food , and other items on the menu
- Attend weekly leadership meetings and participate with ideas and feedback to better the company
- Communicate professionally with guests as well as team members
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year in management, capable of providing two references for positions that managed you
- Strong leadership qualities
- Minimum of 1 year experience in specialty coffee is required
- Experience working with manual espresso machines
- Capable of properly crafting a pour over (weighing and grinding the beans, proper technique on pouring the water, etc)
- Latte art experience
- Point of Sale knowledge
- Must be up to date with health code regulations and capable of maintaining a clean and inviting work environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work a flexible schedule based on store and company needs
- Must be available to work weekends and some Holidays
- Capable of multi-tasking and problem solving
