As an award-winning, chef-owned restaurant, Plates Neighborhood Kitchen has been a centerpiece of Raleigh's Glenwood South neighborhood for over a decade.
Our cuisine is globally influenced and locally produced, our wine list and bar menu are thoughtfully curated, and our coffee is roasted by some of the best local roasters in North Carolina.
We are seeking an experienced and career-oriented barista to take our Coffee Program to the next level.
In our kitchen, we make high-quality food from scratch. We make our own charcuterie, jellies, stocks, soups, sauces, pasta, pastries, ice cream, and more. We butcher meats, poultry, and fish regularly. We try new things, change the menu weekly, and always work with the best tools and ingredients we can afford. We are relaxed but serious about our food. And most importantly, we are always striving to learn more and get better.
At our bar, in the dining room, and on the patio, Plates is a relaxing, comfortable, and fun place to eat and drink. Our hosts, servers, and bartenders work as a team to make us a place that guests can't wait to return to. And our Coffee Program is no different.
