Coca-Cola Dispatch and Service Tech $18-$20/hr

Durango Coca-Cola is a local, family-owned company, successful in Durango for over 100 years and our territory and product line continues to grow. We are hiring a Service Dispatch Tech to help us manage our service calls and provide a high level of customer support by assisting the service team.

What does a Service Dispatch Tech do at Durango Coca-Cola?

In this role you will be a key part of Durango Coca-Cola’s service department. You will answer inbound service calls and dispatch them to the appropriate technician in our area. You will close out calls and bill them as appropriate as well as help to refurbish machines and ride along to support our technicians as needed. The work schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday beginning at 8am and ending at 5pm daily, with the potential for some overtime and weekend work and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering inbound calls
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open interactive communication
• Dispatching all service requests to the appropriate technician
• Billing for time and parts as needed
• Ordering parts for the field technicians
• Maintain equipment inventory
• Coordinate with Service manager for installs, removals, and other scheduled services
• Close all completed service calls in a timely manner
• Help field technicians as needed with repairs, removals, and placements - this is not a typical desk job, and it can be very physical. Lots of bending, twisting, lifting, and helping move equipment.
• Refurbish equipment

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent certification
• Driving record - no major violation in the last 3 years, CMV driving experience is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to maneuver heavy machines with proper moving equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly if needed.
• Technology experience-Microsoft Office, iPhone and iPad devices, Data Entry, Typing
• Valid US Driver’s License
