Are you a current undergraduate or graduate student looking for a 6 month co-op opportunity to work across diverse data sources (e.g., customer attributes, transactional history, digital activity, phone call recordings, research surveys, etc.) to uncover key patterns to drive strategic decisions? THE EXPERTISE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Coursework in a quantitative / technical field such as engineering, economics, statistics, computer science, operations research, data science or analytics.
- Exposure and working ability with to some programming / database querying tools (R, Python, SQL, etc...) and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
- Familiarity with the tools, methods and techniques to wrangle and use structured and unstructured data
- Passion for knowledge, continuous learning and tackling multi-disciplinary projects through participation in hackathons, Kaggle competition, and similar efforts.
THE PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE
During your co-op you will employ your developing analytical skills on an agile inter-disciplinary team in the Personal Investing business at Fidelity. You will learn to analyze customer behavior at every touch point (web, mobile, IoT, phone, branch, etc), tied to customer attributes/preferences and customer outcomes.
