Your Opportunity
As a Software Development Intern, you will work on various aspects of the Software Development lifecycle in a highly agile environment. This role is an active participant in all phases of Software Development including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
As a specialized project, you will work on a data analysis project where you swift through data to identify and sort out active and inactive accounts.
What You’ll Do (Primary Responsibilities)
- Data analysis from multiple sources to make an informed decision.
- Validate the logic and assumptions before applying to large set of data.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
- Perform minor software enhancements and defect fixes.
- Work alongside other software engineers to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices for design, coding standards, performance, security, delivery, and maintainability.
- Create and maintain application code used in our web applications.
- Address technical debt issues identified.
- Maintain thorough documentation related to their work.
- Live the principles behind the Agile Manifesto and SAFe framework in all interactions.
What Sets you apart
- Working toward a bachelor's degree in a computer science field or related experience.
- Basic knowledge of Software Design, Algorithms, Programming, and Data Structures.
- Experience building software applications in a class, as a personal hobby, as part of an open-source project.
- Experience with any programming language, preferably Java
- Experience with managing data in MS Excel or any database
