C#/.Net Senior Full Stack Developer

Position Summary:

You ll be working alongside other developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for Cottonimages.com systems. Cottonimages is one of the largest screen printing companies in the US and uses systems of high complexity to manage its processes. The position role develops .NET C# Angular web applications in a Microsoft environment hosted on AWS. We need an expert who can contribute to the work being done and act as the backup to the entire IT team. Be able to provide expertise and hands-on development and delivery of both front and backend web development but it is mostly backend. Though this is a part-time position (10-20 hrs. per week to start), it is a long-term engagement. This is also a 100% Remote opportunity. In order to be considered for this position, each candidate will undergo one or several coding skills test(s) to assess programing capabilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain C# code using industry standard development tools including MS Visual Studio, Git, MS SQL Server Studio, Amazon Web Services, Angular, Windows Forms and REST APIs
• Create and maintain Web code using industry standard development technologies including HTML, CSS and Angular, Windows Web Forms, JSON, AJAX, SOAP/REST web services
• Familiarity with UI Development understanding caching strategies and image management
• Writing reusable, testable, and scalable code from scratch or other developers existing code
• Works closely with other developers, integration and test teams to ensure product quality
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
• Knowledge of AWS

Skills:

• Minimum 6 years hands-on development experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline. A Master in Computer Science is preferred.
• Understanding of the design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, high-performing backends
• Experience developing SQL Server databases
• Experience with cloud tools and technologies such as AWS
• Must be a self-starter and be able work well in fast paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent written, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Permanent

Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
