Cnc Programmer/Machinist

Requirements:

· 7 years’ experience in metalworking (5-Axis is a plus)

· Must know Mastercam & SolidWorks (Min 5 years)

· GD&T and solid knowledge of manufacturing techniques

· Read & interpret technical drawings and independently program, set up, and operate your jobs on CNC mills & lathes from start to finish (HAAS Machine Shop- (2)UMC 750 Pallet Pool 8+1, UMC 500SS & 750SS, VM6, ST-15Y & ST-15)

· Perform in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, etc. to verify conformance of machined parts to customer specifications.

· Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors & operation managers.

· Work independently with timed deadlines

· Take initiative to plan complicated tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues, fixtures, machines, tooling, etc.

· Preform special assignments and other related tasks with the ability to be flexible.

Physical Demands:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend and reach above shoulders. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; and talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
