- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
- Use CAM programming software to create and edit programs for CNC machines
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines, such as tooling problems or programming errors
- Knowledge of 5 axis machining is a must.
```Skills```
- Proficient in CAM programming software for 5 axis CNC machines
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
- Experience with Fanuc controls and programming language
- Familiarity with power tools used in machining operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble components accurately
