Responsibilities:
-CNC Programming using Fusion 360 . PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT PROGRAM FOR CNC MILL AND LATHE.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
-Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience with Fusion 360
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Proficient in operating CNC machines and using various tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques, including milling, drilling, turning, and grinding
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programming is preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is a plus
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Skills:
- Forklift operation for material handling purposes a plus
- Fabrication skills for creating custom parts as needed
- Proficiency in machining techniques using power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, etc.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes
- Welding skills for joining metal components as required a plus
- Experience with milling machines for shaping work pieces accurately
- Familiarity with tooling selection and setup for different machining operations
