Salary Our client, a growing machining and tooling company located in Muncy, PA, is in search of a Senior Level CNC Programmer/Machinist. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating complex CNC programs, setting up and machining parts, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves overseeing tooling, training team members, and integrating the latest technologies to enhance efficiencies.
Primary Job Duties:
- Develop programs for 3 and 4 axis machining centers using Mastercam and conversational programming (5th axis experience is a plus).
- Set up and machine parts as required, ensuring high precision and quality.
- Implement and manage systems for continuous improvement in machining processes.
- Oversee tooling purchases, inventory management, and organization.
- Train and mentor less experienced team members, ensuring skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Integrate and utilize the latest technology to improve operational efficiencies.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.
- Expertise in senior-level CNC machining processes is essential.
- Ability to manage time and commitments independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience in leading, training, and mentoring others in a machining environment.
- Strong team player with excellent verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus.
