Cnc Mill Machinist

We are expanding again and are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team!

PLEASE READ THE QUALIFICATIONS and ONLY reply if you meet them.

We are looking for a CNC Mill machinist that can operate independently. You MUST be able to do your own Set-Ups and edit your own programs.

Qualified Candidates will have experience setting up and doing basic programming on CNC machines. Must have knowledge of fixtures, tooling, feeds and speeds, and good math skills.

We need someone that can take the job from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machines to produce precision parts from prints
• Modify parts and materials to improve overall production
• Know how to operate inspection equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a job shop type environment
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with limited supervision

We are a rapidly growing precision machine shop. We do some production work but most of what we do is low volume prototype jobs with very tight tolerances requiring quick turnarounds. Our specialty is in smaller precision parts (no overhead cranes).

This is a fast paced environment requiring the ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure. We are a job shop. We are looking for good machinists to join our team. If you have a passion for our trade and for making quality parts, then please apply. We are ready to hire.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
