We are currently seeking CNC Machinists for our Auburn, New York facility, ranging from entry-level to highly experienced. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. Entry: Level A Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 4-axis and below Mills and Turning centers.
• Monitor multiple pieces of machinery efficiently and simultaneously.
• Use Mics, Calipers, and simple plate inspection techniques.
• Inspect and record critical features on parts using hand tools, surface plates, and comparators.
• Read and interpret most blueprint dimensions.
• Preset tooling per the tool sheet.

Advanced: Level B Key Responsibilities:

• All responsibilities of Level C from above.
• Perform simple setups on 4-axis and below Mills and Turning centers.
• Perform simple to semi-complicated prove-outs of new programs (4-axis and below).
• Operate 5-axis mills and Mill turn machines.
• Operate Swiss machinery.
• Use independent judgment to offset tooling and work coordinates.
• Operate CMM for verification.
• Make minor CNC program edits.

Advanced: Level A Key Responsibilities:

• All responsibilities of Levels B and C from above.
• Perform efficient setups on all CNC equipment.
• Perform prove-outs efficiently on complicated setups and parts.
• Calculate, perform, or suggest complex changes to part programs.
• Train in mechanical inspection techniques.
• Train on all CNC equipment.
• Demonstrate leadership and a willingness to help others learn and grow.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Possess adequate math skills.

Key Competencies:

• Fundamental knowledge of CNC machining principles.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Starting Pay: $20.00-$37.00/hour depending on experience. Shift differentials are offered for second and third shifts.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
