Job Description: CNC Machinist

M&S Machining is seeking candidates who have experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers. M&S Machining is interested in candidates of all experience levels and offers on-the-job training as well as other opportunities to develop one’s machining knowledge and further their career!

Job Duties:

• Setup and run multiple different geometrically complex parts at various machining centers.
• Inspect setups and parts during manufacturing to ensure quality and production needs are met.
• Monitor machining centers during production to alert supervisor of any issues.
• Deburr and polish parts as they come off of the machine.

Required Skills:

• Effectively communicate with interdisciplinary departments of the company daily.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints accurately.
• Understanding of basic arithmetic and trigonometry.
• High level of organization and self-discipline.
• Understanding of the proper procedures to manually measure parts on and off of a machining center.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using Surfcam, Solidworks, and/or FeatureCAM.
• Experience with CMM inspection and in-depth knowledge of metrology.
• Familiar with working in a low volume, high mix manufacturing facility.
• CAD/CAM experience.

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
