- Operate CNC mills and lathes by safely loading and unloading raw materials in machinery
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Deburr and blend parts as necessary
- Read and interpret shop prints and drawings
- Completes all documentation appropriate to job including inspection sheets, work instructions, clocking in and out of job travelers
- Ability to use measuring tools for quality inspection such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools
- Ensure that quality performance meets or exceeds expectations
- Clean and maintain all machines, facility, tooling, and fixtures
- Works closely with team members
- Identify and communicate with supervision of faulty machine operations, defective materials and unusual conditions
- Ensure that all communication channels are used to share information quickly and accurately
- Have the flexibility to work in other departments as required
Qualifications:
- Experience working within a CNC/machining based environment
- Basic understanding and application of GD&T, shop math, and machine shop best practices
- Ability to work hands-on and with others
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
- Must pay attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk continuously throughout the work day

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
