The Machinist is to consistently provide a high level of quality, technical experience, and machining experience, while working in a small team environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, operation of conventional, special purpose and CNC
- Identify and set up required tooling jobs
- Cost awareness
- Calculate precise measurements and set controls for accuracy
- Develop specifications and produce parts
- Read, maintain and calibrate precision measuring tools
- Inventory management / budget cost
- Discuss repair order problems with Field Representatives and Customers to determine work order repairs
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- High School / GED required
- Advanced education in machining or equivalent experience in job related field
- REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite
- Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, and stoop numerous times throughout the day
- Understand and follow blueprints; manufacture parts to specifications
- Handling and assembling small parts
- Ensures ISO standards and requirements are maintained as well as developing of ISO processes
- Ensures quality expectations are met
- Ability to demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Management System, Agiliti’s Quality Policy, and all other documented quality processes and procedures
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
