Cnc Setup Machinist

Job title: CNC Machinist
Location: Oberlin, OH
Shift: 1^st (6 am to 2:30 pm, with ability to work Overtime as needed)
Wage: $22 to $27 based on experience
Contract to hire
Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Mills/Lathes and Bridgeport machines
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Load and unload raw materials in machines
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• Recognize and properly use inserts, fixtures and tooling
• Perform tool wear offsets
• Perform cleaning and light maintenance on machinery
• Utilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures

• 2 or more years' experience performing set ups and operating CNC machines
• High School Diploma or GED
• Good problem solving, math, and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
• Must pass a 10 panel drug screen and other pre-employment screening as required
