We’re looking for a CNA/ Scheduler with a compassionate mindset and a passion for helping seniors. A self-starter with enthusiasm and initiative. This team member loves caring for patients and knows how to develop lasting trust. We're also looking for a organized CNA who is able to manage and schedule a large group of nursing staff on a day to day basis. Could this be you?
Responsibilities:
- Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with geriatric care needs.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living according to individual care plans.
- Observes residents and reports to nursing any changes in physical, mental, and emotional condition.
- Communicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner.
- Create a organized and feasible schedule that would cover all parts of the facility.
- Answering and reporting all call offs to DON and unit managers.
- Finding replacements for call offs when needed.
- Must have department schedule complete 2 weekd prior to currant schedule end date.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.
- Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
- Can foster good resident and family relationships.
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
- A passion for working with elderly residents.
- Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility a plus, but not required.
- Must maintain professionalism when responding to call offs. Avoid conflict and rudness.
- Must submit call offs forms weekly to Director.
- Must always refrain from gossiping. Failure to due so will result in immediate demotion.
