Administrative Central Scheduler

Indiana Physical Therapy is hiring Central Schedulers! Central Schedulers are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and scheduling efficiencies through accurate data collection and entry. This is an excellent entry-level position that offers growth and advancement opportunities.

Hours:
Monday - Wednesday 7 AM - 3:00 PM/ Thursday 11AM-7:00 PM
Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00PM

or

Monday 11:00 AM -7PM/ Tuesday-Thursday 8AM to 4:00 PM/ Friday 10AM- 6:00 PM
*Would only be 40 hours weekly with set schedule*

Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Schedule patient appointments for all clinics through inbound calls to our dedicated scheduling line. This includes utilizing assertive scheduling and rescheduling techniques to maximize therapists’ schedules while minimizing open, unscheduled time periods.
• Verify insurance information for new patient appointments and explain benefits to new patients via telephone.
• Submit, maintain, and track authorizations in the EMR system.
• Communicate effectively with the business office and all clinics, ensuring necessary information and data is shared. This includes retrieving emails and faxes and responding to requests timely and accurately.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional customer services skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, operating with a high level of professionalism
• Understanding of insurance terminology and complete understanding of general office duties
• Proficient computer skills including Windows-based office technologies
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills

Indiana Physical Therapy operates 20 outpatient orthopedic clinics in Indiana, including seven in Fort Wayne and one each in Angola, Auburn, Bluffton, Camby, Columbia City, Decatur, Elkhart, Goshen, Huntington, Indianapolis, Kendallville, Mishawaka, New Haven, and Warsaw.

Our Industrial Services and Athletic Training divisions also provide therapy and service options.
