Allegiance Staffing in Greer, SC is looking for an experienced CMM Operator/Programmer for a growing company in Spartanburg, SC. This will be a first shift temp-to-hire position.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect and measure parts according to specifications
- Use various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision instruments
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and CAD models to determine measurement points and tolerances
- Conduct thorough inspections of parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Record and document measurement data accurately
- Collaborate with production team to address any quality issues or concerns
- Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a CMM Operator or in a similar role preferred
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to apply mathematical concepts in measurement and inspection tasks
- Proficient in using CMM software and programming language
- Knowledge of mechanical principles and understanding of engineering drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with CNC machines and tooling is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot measurement issues
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members

Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 DOE

8a-5p Monday-Friday
