Slasher Operator

Slasher Operator will work with the assistant, under the direct supervision of the shift support and in full cooperation with all associates, working together; will be responsible for the overall operation of the Slasher. Perform set up procedures at creel run out, load section and set into creel, maintain correct speed and tension on slasher, observe front of slasher of breaks, lost ends or yard defects, stop machine repair breaks and glue lost ends, maintain selvages of warp, complete necessary paperwork, as required, maintain general housekeeping of area.
Requirements:
Read, understand and follow written instructions, writing, good vision, capacity to work independently .Basic math, calculator skills, mechanical aptitude, ability to lift light to heavy weight, standard learning period 12 weeks, OJT
