Job Summary
The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for the overall management and upkeep of both the home and visitor clubhouses at Haymarket Park. This is a full-time temporary seasonal position that runs from May through mid-September. The Clubhouse Manager is required to be present for all 50 regular season home games, spring training practices and games, and any post season games. Abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure field manager and coach's offices, dressing areas, restrooms, shower areas and training rooms in both clubhouses are organized, cleaned, stocked with all clubhouse amenities/supplies and ready to be occupied prior to each team's arrivals each day.
  • Communicate with the home team field manager, coaches and players on preferred pre-game refreshments and general clubhouse supplies for both teams for each series to stock while staying within the budget set by Lincoln Professional Baseball.
  • Assure both clubhouses are stocked with towels, toiletries, pre-game food items for every home game, while assuring appropriate levels are maintained throughout the day/night.
  • Coordinate post-game meals with the Haymarket Park Food & Beverage Department.
  • Communication with the visiting team in advance of the start of each home series to coordinate pick-up of the visiting team's laundry from team hotel.
  • Laundering of all home and visitor uniforms, personals and towels for field managers, coaches & players prior to each game and placing in individual lockers when complete.
  • Inventory control and assist the Director of Stadium Operations in the distribution or collection of all practice and uniform attire and accessories and all-team issued equipment.
  • Assist in the set-up of both dugouts and bullpens for early work/batting practice, and game.
  • Oversee the daily ticket pass lists and coordinate the delivery of mailings for both teams.
  • Be available to pick up or drop off players at the airport and run general errands for field manager, coaches and players.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
  • Previous experience in a sports and/or recreational environment; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses:

  • Valid NE drivers' license

Must be insurable under the company's insurance program.

Skills and Abilities:      

  • Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, manage competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Must have a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing 25-40 pounds.

Condition of Employment:
Candidate is required to meet the above qualifications, task frequency and PPE requirements.  Approval of pre-employment reference & background checks, and post offer drug/alcohol testing with back screens (if required) are required as conditions of employment.
