Description of Work
Assist in the planning and execution of Marketing responsibilities surrounding 24 varsity sports at the University of Nebraska Athletic Department. Serve as the primary marketing contact with supervision and management of all marketing and Fan Experience efforts and initiatives for Women's Basketball, Softball and other sports to be determined. This position will also have a role with Football and will also oversee the Nebraska Athletics Kids Club. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Because of the nature of athletic schedules, the selected candidate may be required to work flexible hours to meet the various demands of the operation.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, sports management or related field plus 1 year of full-time sports marketing experience. Knowledge of computer design programs needed, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Excellent communication skills necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of athletic marketing and promotions, ticket sales, in-game management and be able to successfully and efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Sports marketing specific experience in a Power 5 collegiate athletic department. Women's Basketball, Softball scripting and production experience and/or experience with a Kids Club.
