The Opportunity

The Operations Manager at Omaha Country Club is an exciting chance to work at a nationally recognized private club. They are essentially the "face" of daily operations. This individual works in a team comprised of other Operations Managers, the General Manager, the Clubhouse Manager, the Executive Chef, and Director of Events. The Operations Manager must be confident in themselves, highly extroverted, and present on the floor during peak dining hours. With a membership of varied demographics, they must be an exceptional communicator. They must have the emotional quotient and maturity to know how to make the members and their guests feel that they are being given the highest level of service in a manner that is befitting of a premier Country Club. Further, the individual must be able to communicate these expectations to the staff and get them to understand and execute them. Members are social, active, and trending younger. The Operations Manager must be engaged and in-tune with this member-centric environment.


*Responsible for management involving all facets of service within the Food and Beverage Department - depending on the shift they have been assigned to, they may be managing our restaurant or an event in one of our private rooms.

*Ensures that administrative responsibilities are completed in a timely manner.

*Sustains daily contact with the membership. Receives and responds to any comments, question, concerns, or criticism and relays this information to the rest of the team.

*Works in rotation with other Operations Managers to supervise and continually educate the service staff in order to ensure first-rate service and attention to detail in both our restaurant and private events.

*Embraces the philosophy of "The answer is 'Yes', now what is the question?"

*Additional responsibilities such as scheduling, beverage ordering, point-of-sale programming may be added to the candidate's list of duties as they become more comfortable with the initial aspects of the position.


Educational Requirements

Degree in Hospitality Management preferred, but not required.

Excellent computer skills: Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel


Other Benefits

Attractive salary range commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience. Lunch and dinner are provided during scheduled shifts. Limited golf privileges. After 90 days: employer contributed health insurance, affordable eye and dental insurance offered, and sick pay. After one year: employer matched 401K and paid vacation.
