ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESRecruit students for Academic Integration and research
- Present to and share experiences to various academic classes campus wide highlighting all of the opportunities for students to integrate with Club Sports.
- Communicate in a professional manner via email, phone, virtually, and through face-to-face meetings with interested students regarding scheduling and any other general questions.
- Facilitate dialogue between students and coaches/staff for any and all projects and studies.
Manage and oversee group of integration students
- Must be present and must facilitate all group meetings and field any questions or concerns from students.
- Will review any projects while providing constant feedback throughout the semester.
- Assist students in creating portfolio’s by encouraging students to put classroom theory to tangible practice through the lens of college athletics.
- Complete CSER evaluations.
Organize and collect Academic Integration and research data
- Send monthly reminders (emails and phone calls) to coaches and staff in Club Sports to input and track their students and hours.
- Work with the ADS team and the dashboard that tracks live data and hours.
- Consistently and accurately update the master document that tracks overall student information and hours.
- Separately track and identify integration and research students and hours for each respective Club Sports team.
- Send monthly final reports to supervisor outlining current figures by provided deadline.
Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks.
Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALSEducation and ExperienceFour-year college degree, with a concentration in Business, Communications, Digital Media, Education, Exercise Science, or Sports Management, 2+ years in an academic or business administration/leadership environment is strongly recommended. Strong experience required in academic development with knowledge of a variety of sport team’s functional requirements. Well-developed communications skills both verbally and written.
Communication and Comprehension- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well articulated information.
- Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
- Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University to a variety of business and community customers and associates.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
Problem Solving
- Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
- Occasionally required to travel to local and campus locations.
- Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard. (If not administrative duties, such as labor, define general physical abilities.

- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the building.
