Cloud Computing Research Analyst

Description

Reporting to the Principal Analyst for 5G Monetization and Enterprise Cloud Computing the analyst will be responsible for research and analysis specializing in cellular networks technology, Cloud Computing and their applicability for enterprise use cases. The role requires a career-driven individual who has excellent time management and communication skills. The right candidate should be a “self-starter” who is equally happy working individually and in small, usually multi-disciplined/multinational groups.

The successful analyst will contribute to research services that cover 5G Networks, Multi-Access Edge Computing and enterprise Cloud Computing. The analyst will be in frequent contact with both hyperscalers / cloud service providers industry as well as enterprises from different end-verticals to leverage their perspective into all research products.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Authoring syndicated research reports, market forecasts, articles, and related products within one or more areas of personal expertise
• Working on custom research and consulting projects, providing leadership on approach and methodology
• Supporting other analysts where required and providing the developed market expertise to other groups research within the organization.

• Experience in product management, new product development, product marketing, market research, or industry analysis is strongly preferred.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced skills in manipulating Excel databases
• Industry experience/market analysis experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required

Location

ABI Research is fully remote in the U.S., with physical offices in the U.K. and Singapore. Analysts may be fully remote, report to an office, or operate in a hybrid role based on skills and experience.
