The Cloud Architect has an important role in shaping the architecture of several major SaaS products across AWS, Azure and GCP. They are a thought leader, an educator, and a consensus builder. They dive into critical details while keeping the big picture in mind.

They will fit in well with our dynamic team.Responsibilities & Duties Lead extension of Cloud Architecture standards Develop proposal for intercloud networking Lead development of Kubernetes architecture Work with the Security & Compliance team and the DevOps team to develop cloud security standards Lead adoption of standards enforcement automation through AWS Config, Azure Policy, and Azure Blueprints Assist DevOps team in story refinement, as needed. Work with Infrastructure Department on cost estimation and optimization. Review architecture of new infrastructure projects and major changes to existing projects Assist in developing proof-of-concept projects Align Cloud Architecture with product direction and the software architecture roadmap Create architecture diagrams and documentation Lead search for third party tools and components Proactively expose problems & risks and develop solutions Training & mentoring for peers and less experienced engineers Advocate for DevOps culture, and architectural & security standards Optimize cost, performance, scalability, and reliability Partner with DevOps, SRE, development, database, security, and IT teams.
