The Clinical Training Manager will be responsible for the facilitation of technical and Clinical Training across a variety of stakeholders. This individual will directly impact the success of new and existing Monarch programs by facilitating technical training for physicians and their clinical staff, supporting their initial procedures, and providing field-based advanced training. The Clinical Training Manager will also support the execution of technical and Clinical Training as part of our commercial education / sales training programs. This rewarding role will require a self-led, motivated, highly communicative and collaborative individual who can quickly and assuredly build long-term relationships with internal and external partners.
- Facilitate primary technical training in clinical and non-clinical settings for physicians and their clinical staff.
- Collaborate with the Field Sales Organization and Global Customer Success to ensure excellent customer experience leading up to and throughout program launch.
- Support initial adoption of the system and future updates / upgrades at new or existing customer sites.
- Expertly interact with hospital personnel in all relevant departments, including but not limited to physicians, executives and both clinical and non-clinical staff members.
- Facilitate technical training and proficiency assessments of the field sales organization.
- Support hands-on product demonstrations for prospective customers or fellows / residents, including during external (society or institution based) hands-on education programs.
- Collaborate with teammates passionate about content development and curriculum design to provide subject matter expertise during the development of training content.
- Develop strong working relationship with R&D, Clinical Engineering, and Service to ensure a feedback loop between functions.
- Consistently demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- BA / BS required.
- Experience educating clinicians, sales team members, and/or peers on sophisticated medical devices or technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to listen, understand customer feedback, and competently relay information within the organization.
- Proven leadership in positively impacting utilization of technology and proactive communication of both successes and challenges.
- Available for up to 75% travel.
- Experience working with Pulmonologists and/or Thoracic surgeons.
- Foundational knowledge of Pulmonary and Thoracic anatomy and disease states.
