Job Description
A Clinical Team Support is responsible for administrative functions to assist the Agency’s Clinical Team operations. CTS functions include but not limited to scheduling, medical supply tracking, phone triage, data entry, scanning, and other responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school graduate is required.
- Prior experience in an administrative assistant role in a home health care setting is preferred.
- Basic medical terminology.
- Proficient in computer.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service.
- Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
- Prior scheduling experience beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Performs data entry of various documents including but not limited to processing of referrals, visit schedule, medical supplies, and patient and employee demographics.
- Ensures visit schedule matches MD order.
- Maintains staff schedule.
- Answers and triage phone calls.
- Assist Clinical Team operation in timely release or RAP and EOE
- Schedules client appointments/visits according to care plans, staff availability and productivity.
- Provides staffing for sick leave, vacation and long-term leave.
- Prints and reviews together with Nursing Supervisor daily, weekly and monthly reports such as Missed Visit, Schedule Deviation, Therapy Re- Evaluation Exception, Episode Continuity and Past Due Visits.
- Performs general office duties including but not limited to word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, sort/distributes mail, provides reception and telephone services.
- Maintains call-in and retention report.
- Supports Concierge Homecare Compliance program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Environments & Physical Demands of the Job
Works indoors in Agency office.
Occasional travel between offices if needed.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to bend and move as needed.
