We have a partner ship with Indus Home Health in London, and are currently looking for a Clinical Supervisor.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the coordination and management of patient care

Assists the Director of Clinical Services in maintaining the quality of patient care in accordance with the Agency’s objectives and policies through planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the services provided.

Coordinate and oversee direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical personnel

Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff to ensure the quality of services and maintenance of standards.

Perform chart audits

Identify and evaluate patient needs and appropriateness of home care by reviewing the initial intake screening form before assignment of direct care staff

Maintains adequate and appropriate Medical Supplies

Assists with orientation of new personnel as well as in-services for current staff

Responsible for ensuring Medicare, State and ACHC regulations are followed by all clinical staff

Assists the Director of Clinical Services with responsibilities as requested

Appraise clinical staff performance during their probationary period and annually, provides the teaching and counseling necessary to enhance the delivery of services and the professional development of nursing and health aide staff

Assume responsibility for self-development by continually striving to improve his/her Nursing/management practice through formal education, attendance at workshops and conferences, active participation in professional and related organizational meetings, and/or individual research and reading

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Must be a Registered Nurse licensed by the state of OHIO

Must have no exceptions to RN license, and be able to administer pharmaceuticals, perform medication reconciliation, and any nursing procedures or special treatments needed within the scope of nursing practice for state

Must have a minimum of 1 year nursing experience in home health or skilled home care
