We proudly serve over 150 communities in MA, with our clients coming from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, who struggle predominantly with anxiety and trauma. These services are offered through; Residential, CBAT, and Intensive Treatment Programs, Special Education Day School, Therapeutic Middle-High School, Out-Patient and In-Home Therapeutic Services.
The non-profit is seeking an Assistant Program Director for our Intensive Treatment Residence (ITR) located in Needham, MA. In conjunction with Program Director, this position will provide leadership and oversight of the Intensive Treatment Residence. Provide clinical supervision to approximately 1-2 clinicians and clinical interns. Provide oversight of ongoing assessment, treatment planning, implementation of interventions, case management, adherence to documentation standards and discharge planning by clinicians assigned. Must be committed to child centered, family focused, culturally competent care using the non-profit's supported Evidence Based Practices.

Education and Licensure
Required:

Experience
Required:
At least two years’ experience in therapeutic treatment with latency aged children and their families. Proficiency in use of computer systems for clinical information management, excellent oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with documentation standards. Experience with assessment, goal-oriented treatment planning, and evidence-based treatment modalities. Previous experience working with youth with emotional and behavioral challenges, their family systems, and state agencies.
Preferred:
Two years of post-master’s experience in a similar setting. Experience supervising masters level clinicians. Familiarity with Evolv – Electronic Medical Record. Understanding of Rehab Options. Certification or training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Abilities Required:
Ability to meet deadlines and follow through with multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to respond to and follow through with requests professionally.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to sit at work station for prolonged periods of time, consistent with OSHA suggestions and requirements.Must have the ability to access different building locations, equipment, mailboxes, etc.Must have ability to access off campus programs.Must have ability to lift packages up to 10 pounds.Physical Abilities
Required: Ability to get to and from various locations on the campuses.
Preferred: Ability to successfully utilize the verbal and physical aspects of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) .
Essential functions:
Provide weekly supervision to clinician(s) and/or interns.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to supervise the coordination of treatment for youth assigned to you or clinician(s) you directly supervise.
Provide clinical consultation to other clinicians and direct care staff.
Ensure timely submission of all required documentation based on current licensing standards. If clinicians are unable to complete documentation prior to the due date, Clinical Supervisors are responsible for completing the document.
Participation in treatment meetings to role model for clinicians, and to provide support when necessary.
Attend weekly supervision, all required staff meetings, and trainings
Attend monthly program rounds and facilitate when needed.
Coverage of some or all youth related responsibilities when supervisees take scheduled time off.
Work as the primary clinician for students assigned.
Successfully complete Medication Administration Program (MAP) training and provide MAP meds as needed.
On-call coverage, as assigned.
Other duties as assigned
Supervision to be received: Weekly from ITR Program Director
Supervision to be exercised: Weekly with Clinicians and Interns
