This is role is an in office position with travel into the FreedomCare hub office located in Denver, CO.
Department & Position Overview:
We are looking for an Clinical (RN) Assistant Manager to oversee operations in Denver, who has an innovative, entrepreneurial spirit as well as a passion for continually improving the way we do things.People on our team all possess a real passion for helping people, which is one of our company's core values. You will ensure our customers receive the level of care and attention they deserve. You'll pride yourself on your ability to problem solve and take ownership for each customer request ensuring that we always do the right thing for our members.
Every Day You Will:
- Assist the Manager of Operations in managing day-to-day operations in Colorado
- Assist in building up the team to achieve the growth goals in Colorado
- Conduct emergency home visits in response to urgent patient needs or requests.
- Coordinate immediate care interventions and communicate effectively with the care team.
- Maintain strict compliance with healthcare regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Assist with documenting and developing best practices and training material
- Implement strategy for our patients and caregivers, leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve quality of care
- Partners in the hiring, selection, and onboarding/training process for new employees
- Oversee the necessary compliance aspects of running this healthcare startup, including records of training and certifications for staff, and compliance with Colorado state laws and regulations
- Engage with patients over the phone to address inquiries, provide support, and ensure a positive client experience.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and patients to ensure a holistic and patient-centered approach to care.
- Provide clear and concise communication to the IHSS team regarding patient status and care updates.
- Enforce processes and policies that support our people doing great work, looking for ways to simplify and streamline, incorporating feedback from all levels to continually improve
- Identify and work with development and technology teams to oversee software adjustments to your team's workflows

- Take ownership of ensuring all policies, procedures and overall mission of your office demonstrates a complete commitment to FreedomCare's high moral and ethical standards
Ideal Candidate Will Possess/Be:
- Valid and active RN License in state of Colorado
- Ability to provide support to our patients in Denver and surrounding areas
- 2+ years of experience in operations management (healthcare, business, customer experience are all interesting areas of past experience)
- Experience working in operations management
- Experience working in startups
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats, helping out where needed
- Experience using a CRM
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Passion for improving home care and for leveraging technology to improve lives
- Ability to utilize technology to advance company initiativesincluding knowledge of healthcare information systems
- Energized by ambitious goals and working in a fast-paced environment
- Great interpersonal skills: you're able to bring people along, inspire them, ask tough questions, and hold people accountable
- Ability to use performance management skills to define goals, appraise progress, offer consistent and effective team coaching and feedback.
- Able to thrive in a fast paced startup environment
Nice-to-Haves:
- 2+ years of performance management experience
- Healthcare/startup experience
- Bilingual in Spanish, or other languages desired
