TheDivision of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Preventive Medicine, within theDepartment of Internal Medicine, is seeking a full time Clinical ResearchManager for a Clinical Trials Network funded study, Ketamine forMethamphetamine use Disorder (KMD).

The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressivedepartment with a diverse staff working in dedicated teams to provide qualitywork in an organized, effective, and efficient manner through innovation,training, and education. Through our collaborative work effort, we support thefaculty and enhance the missions of the department, school, Health SciencesCenter, and University.

Conditions of Employment
  • NM Licensure as a Registered Nurse may be required, as appropriate to the individual position
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
  • May be required to submit to annual TB and rubella screening.
  • UNM will provide Hepatitis vaccination, candidate may decline vaccination through declination form or may provide record of vaccination from previous employer.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and previous experience working with the NIDA Clinical Trials Network (CTN)
  • Experience with clinical trials medical management of patients
  • Experience with the startup of clinical trials
  • Phlebotomy experience and/or EMT skills
Additional RequirementsSome travel within the US is required. Skills and experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or phlebotomist are beneficial.
