- Processes patients for registration and check-in for diagnostic testing.
- Organizes and processes patient paperwork (i.e.; registration forms, patient orders, MRI screening forms, consent forms).
- Receives and directs telephone calls.
- Prioritizes time so that next day’s/shift’s workload is organized; updates schedules.
- Maintains good relationships with patients and other employees.
- Remains flexible in accepting rotating schedules.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Is authorized to access contrast media.

Some knowledge of medical terminology; knowledge of filing systems; minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.
Education and/or Other Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent. One or two years of clerical experience in scheduling and communications preferred.
