As a Clinic Coordinator, you will perform reception and clerical duties of considerable difficulty in outpatient clinic settings. You will be involved with extensive utilization of Hospitals' systems and constant interaction with patients, physicians, and other members of the Hospitals' staff.
Essential Job Functions
- Ability to type 35 wpm or perform data entry at 4500 keystrokes per minute
- Ability to perform general office duties of filing, Xeroxing, operating printers
- Familiarity with telephone and intercom systems
- Ability to perform general office duties of filing, Xeroxing, operating printers
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to handle a wide variety of public contacts, including conflicts, with patience, tact, courtesy and discretion
- Ability to enter and retrieve data accurately and quickly, check work and resolve mistakes
- Strong verbal, writing, and number-comparison skills
- Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks simultaneously, work independently, use discretion and good judgment, and handle confidential information accordingly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of medical terminology class and typing class
Previous health care experience required
