The Clinical Pharmacist assists the Clinical Coordinator in clinical activities of the Pharmacy, including P&T, MEC and various Departmental, Nursing and Medical Staff committees. Assists with Medication Use Evaluation process and Performance Improvement projects. Provides drug information to nursing and medical staff. Orients new personnel or students to departmental services and programs. Provides educational activities to pharmacy staff. Dispenses medications to patients upon receipt of a physician order.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- Graduate of a College or School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
- Hospital Pharmacy experience, PharmD degree and an ASHP Accredited Residency preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Maintains licensure in good standing as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New Jersey.
