Form of workAlong with performing as a staff LVN, the Clinical Lead (LVN) is responsible for providing technical support to Medical Assistant and LVN staff in a clinic site or physician module to include training, assurance of consistency and standardization of procedures, management of day to day staff coverage arrangements to ensure excellent patient care, staff performance management, and to serve as a mentor to staff. The Clinical Lead is responsible for covering multiple positions and departments, as well as mentoring new and existing staff on clinical processes and procedures. This position will be responsible for review of new and existing staff documentation and charge documents for completion and accuracy. The individual will practice within the scope of a LVN and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience; previous training experience and leadership skills preferred.
- Completion of an accredited LVN program
Required Certification/Registration:
- Current CA LVN license & AHA BLS required in clinical setting
