Position Summary:
NOTE - this position will sit at Methodist Hospital in Sacramento, CA
This position is accountable for promoting E.H.R. Alliance functions to enhance the delivery of patient care through education role modeling quality improvement program development and coordination.
- The incumbent is accountable for promoting E.H.R. Alliance functions to enhance the delivery of patient care through education role modeling quality improvement program development and coordination as necessary all in a manner which is consistent with the Dignity Health core values of Dignity Justice Stewardship Collaboration and Excellence.
- The incumbent is under the supervision of the Senior Director Clinical Informatics with close involvement with of the Sacramento Service area Directors/Managers and the Clinical Educators
- The incumbent supports E.H.R. Alliance optimization by providing E.H.R. Alliance training to hospital staff and physicians for implementation ongoing support for new hires within the hospital and training for software enhancements and upgrades.
- Provide E.H.R. Alliance training to hospital staff in preparation for system implementation and upgrades and to new hospital staff/refresher training to existing employees and physicians. Assist with development and distribution of communication to staff regarding important events planned downtimes target dates etc. Provide increased visibility and support during all downtimes planned and unplanned.
- Assist with scheduling physicians for training pre/during go-live and provide training to designated physicians and provide direct support for physicians and their staff in use of handheld devices and remote access.
- Assist the staff in reporting problems with device performance.
- Coordinates optimization activities such as audits and assists in developing action plans educational programs and trains to continuously improve staff use of E.H.R. Alliance.
- Design implement and evaluate educational programs in collaboration with the Senior Director Clinical Informatics GSSJA CNOs CFOs and E.H.R. Alliance Team.
- Collaborate with Strategic Learning Development to promote nursing orientation.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Three (3) years of nursing experience in a hospital setting involving patient care
- Current California RN license
- Requires knowledge of:
- current nursing techniques principles and practices
- understanding of electronic healthcare systems
- regulatory/accreditation agency standards
- current trends and issues in healthcare
- ability to learn and teach clinical IT systems
- effective oral and written communication skills
- staff development and needs assessment techniques
- Expertise with computer applications in a Microsoft Windows-based environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required
Pay Range
$46.96 - $68.10 /hour
