Salary- Assess, interpret, monitor and document the nutritional status and nutritional needs of hospitalized patients using established standards of care, policies and practice guidelines.
- Provide nutrition education and medical nutrition therapy integrated with the patient’s medical goals.
- Identify and provide age-specific nutrition care to meet the cultural needs of the patients and their families.
- Maintain productivity standards and practice effective time management and prioritizing of tasks. Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns.
- Function as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team.
- When assigned, provide support and supervision to the daily infant formula preparation routine which includes identifying and calculating recipes to individualize the formula to meet nutritional needs of the infant.
- Keep current on nutrition research and incorporate into daily practice.
- Other duties as assigned.
