Job Summary:
Charleston Collegiate School is seeking a full-time Math and Computer Science teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Successful candidates will be creative, energetic, and highly skilled teachers who are passionate about student-centered, collaborative, experiential learning. Candidates should also have a proven track record of success working with high school and middle school students. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching all levels of math to upper and middle school students and the capacity to teach Computer Science, coding, and/or robotics. Salary range: $50-60K, commensurate with experience.

- Experience with experiential education and project-based learning, especially in developing and adapting curriculum for group projects with learning goals in mind.
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and growth mindset
- A willingness to participate in student-life activities e.g., advisory, club leadership, coaching, after-school programs
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject discipline, e.g., Education or mathematics.
- A minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience

- Advanced degree / postgraduate qualification
- The ability to teach other subject disciplines and elective courses
