Clinical Data Analyst Quality Management

Reporting to the Clinical Data Analyst Supervisor this position provides support in manages and coordinates the activities surrounding management of data in the quality patient safety/risk management areas. This position supports the director in the management of performance improvement, patient safety and error reduction activities. Additionally, this position performs special projects as assigned by the director and/or supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or similar field preferred
2. CPHQ Certification, preferred
3. Basic knowledge of relational databases and data warehouse management
4. Two or more years of experience performing quality and patient safety related clinical audits and data abstraction preferred. Must have intermediate level quantitative and analytical skills
5. Intermediate level in use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
6. Able to operate at an intermediate level Clinical Data management and healthcare analytics applications
7. Able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail
