Clinical Data Analyst

CLINICAL DATA ANALYST
REMOTE
Under the direction of the Data Integration Manager, this position will participate in Clinical Data management activities including leading Clinical Data initiatives, analysis and optimization of our Clinical Data capture workflows, and work closely with our M&A team to support data migrations from disparate EMR/PM systems into our core EMR/PM system. This position is highly cross-functional and holds significant responsibility in ensuring Clinical Data integrity. This position will need to analyze data and cross reference and map them to various systems based upon integration, including help maintaining a data warehouse, data management, reporting, and analytics.
Responsibilities

• Frequently perform ad hoc analysis of Clinical Data systems including conceptualization, data gathering, analysis, presentation, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with other departments to successfully migrate large Clinical Data sets from external EMR/PM systems into our core EMR/PM system, including data discovery, mapping, and data validation activities.
• Develop strong relationships with cross- functional teams within the company and across platform partners
• Develop, maintain, and manage Clinical Data reporting, analytics, and dashboards
• Develop and deliver operational performance reporting of results against the organization's KPIs
• Work with large Clinical Datasets to investigate key clinical and business trends, performance, issues and behaviors
• Continually identify and execute clinical process improvements
• Act as a SME on the organization's EHR and PM system
• Organize and present complex analyses in an actionable manner for business leaders
• Participate in technical projects for provider practices systems including integration with add-on products necessary for satisfying regulatory measures or interfacing systems with third party vendors
• Be an individual contributor in a non-standardized environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• B.S. degree HIT, MIS, Computer Science or related field, or additional four years of equivalent healthcare IT experience in lieu of degree
• 7+ years' experience in the healthcare industry (ambulatory or inpatient)
• 7+ years' experience in a business analytics role
• 3+ years' experience in an Agile organization
• DOMO BI experience desire or any other BI platforms
• 3+ years' experience using relational database and cloud solutions
• Problem solving / troubleshooting experience /skills to assist with resolution
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and / or Practice Management systems
• Proficient in use of project management, word processing, flowcharting, and database applications
• 1+ years' experience with financial ERP systems and analyzing financials
• Ability to work well in a cross- functional and cross- cultural team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
