Position Overview:
ENT Surgical Associates is seeking a dedicated Clinical Assistant to join our Nursing Office team. This role will be primarily focused on handling patient inquiries regarding prescription refills, pre and post-operative questions, scheduling surgeries, and working as an Medical Assistant (MA) on the floor. The ideal candidate will have MA experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from patients regarding prescription refills, providing accurate and timely assistance.
- Address patient inquiries related to pre and post-operative care, ensuring all concerns are addressed with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinate and schedule surgeries, working closely with physicians and other staff members to ensure smooth operation and patient satisfaction.
- Work as a Medical Assistant to the doctors - as needed.
- Maintain patient records and update information accurately in the computer system.
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by the Nursing Office manager.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
