Dental Clinical Assistant

Dear future Dental Assistant,

We can't perform optimal dentistry without you! At Berwyn Dental connection, we realize that we can't do what we do best without your help. We are looking for a dental assisitant (with some experience) who wants to learn and grow in their career. We realize most dental assistants feel unappreciated and overworked but we want you to know that you would be a vital part of our team and very much appreciated.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Perform patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations
- Take dental x-rays for the dentist's review
- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures and ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to established protocols
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols, including practicing aseptic techniques
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy

Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience or completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and operating dental equipment
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
