Genesee Valley Equine Clinic is an intermediate veterinary facility serving the horses of the greater Rochester area. We doing ambulatory, emergency, and referral work.
Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and organized Client Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will check-in patients, update their records and owner information, schedule appointments, field phone calls and process payments. You may also be asked to help prepare prescriptions or provide home-care instructions to owners. Candidates interested in veterinary medicine are preferred. Excellent customer service and computer skills are required. The ideal candidate would have experience with and basic knowledge of horses.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Check-in patients
- Gather and certify patient and owner information
- Maintain records
- Schedule appointments
- Process payments
- Prepare prescriptions and explain instructions
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with ezyVet a plus, but not required
- Customer service skills
- Basic math skills and computer literacy
- Comfortable working with horses
- Proclivity towards technology
Schedule
- Hours are flexible for the right individual
- Monday-Friday with some Saturday coverages during our busy season (April-June)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
