Job description

The Center is looking for a rock star Client Service & Investment Associate to join its 30-person wealth management team. To apply, send your cover letter and resume.

· Our team focuses on comprehensive financial planning – this means we review and provide advice on virtually every aspect of one’s financial life

Responsibilities We’ll Trust You With:

· Support team initiatives and understand and support the firm and department’s vision, mission, and strategy

· Collaborate with planners of The Center to assist in the development of financial plans and periodic reviews for clients including, but not limited to, retirement analysis, tax planning, education expense analysis, estate planning, insurance assessment, and investment management

· Provide exceptional service for client needs including account maintenance, money movement, relationship support, etc.

· Coordinate and proactively follow up with clients’ other financial professionals, when necessary

· Work with lead financial planners to successfully onboard new clients

· Proactively seek ways to surprise and delight clients with WOW moments

· Assist in department projects and with the creation of efficient processes

· Maintains the firm’s performance reporting and rebalancing system

· Ensuring reliable data for preparation of operational reports

· General support of investment management including client set up and maintenance

· Various data audit projects

Qualifications:

· Experience in a financial planning and investment environment a plus, though position is also open to career changers or new job market entrants

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Strong service mindset and drive to go above and beyond to provide the best possible client experience

· Strong analytical mindset with great attention to detail, and the interest in applying that to data-focused projects and tasks alongside the Client Service role

· Desire to be part of a team, well-developed interpersonal skills, and ability to get along with diverse personalities

· Intellectual curiosity and talent to think independently and creatively to solve problems

· Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment while prioritizing independent tasks and meeting aggressive deadlines

· Process-oriented, exceptional organization skills, and dedication to exceeding quality standards

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excel skills, or a basic level of comfort with Excel and willingness to learn more

· Series 7, 63, or 66 or other securities license or willingness to complete as a part of professional development plan
